What a privilege to be here on the planet to contribute your unique donation to humankind. Each face in the rainbow of colors that populate our world is precious and special.

Have you done anything good today? Have you ever tried giving, whether in cash or in kind to someone in need, but you felt like having second thoughts right following you have given the cash or donation? Have you tried to donate car but is really hesitant because you are not sure if its the best decision to do with your old, unused car? Don't fret. You are not alone. I used to be like that too. At least I "used" to. Now I can gladly say that I can now give without any hesitation. Why is that? Because I learned that there is power in giving. A Power in Giving. And I mean power in a great way. You realize, like the power to be able to contribute to something that needed support. To have a capacity to resolve and come up with solutions.

The power of giving is so massive that a very simple act of giving can enhance ones well being, relationships, your reputation, and much more importantly, your happiness. Plus the reality which you makes people around you smiling with gratitude. It creates a symbiosis between you and also the receiver. Harmony in society is achieved if all of us contribute and share resources.

Many successful and shiny happy people have discovered these secrets of giving that its not really a secret no more. Giving is really a cure for loneliness. It is a real delight for those who give wholeheartedly. Remember the story of John D. Rockefeller, the Chairman of Standard Oil Company who got sick very poor because of worries and greed? Yes greed. Why would he monopolize the oil business if he was not greedy?

Soon his greed turned into horror. He could no longer sleep. His body got so sick he was forced to eat only crackers and milk.

His life was extended because he learned how you can let go of his money and gave to charities and via his foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation which he founded in 1913. He died 2 months shy away from his 98th birthday. He died a happy, contented man. This poem he wrote when he was 86 years old.

"I was early taught to function as well as play,
My life has been one lengthy, happy holiday;
Full of function and full of play-
I dropped the be concerned on the way-
And God was good to me everyday."

So give and donate. Donate when you are able to give. When you are capable of providing. It is better than not having a chance to give at all. You can donate cars, boats , used clothing, anything that may be of use to assist others. And what are you able to get in return? Happiness!
